homemade frozen dog treats

recently we adopted miss gracie & as any new dog owner, i wanted to shower her with as much love as i could. i'm italian..so in my family, when you love someone, you feed them. ok? ok.

i love the idea of frozen "pupsicles"- here's a recipe i found and tweaked. the upside to this is that i know exactly what is going into my dog, and if i used all natural peanut butter, it would have been even more simple. the other upside is that gracie LOVES these and i get the cyootest photos which brings me to the one downside: i need a better camera to capture the quickness of the treat loving.
brain freeze?
see it?
oh. it's good.

homemade frozen pupsicles: (makes 3-4 ice cube trays full. you can use paper cups or egg cartons, too!
ingredients:

    1.  20 oz. plain yogurt.
    1. 1 mashed, ripe banana
    1. 2 tbsp. peanut butter (we're a skippy household)
    1. 2 tbsp. honey
    directions:
      1.  mix all ingredients with a blender and freeze in icecube trays.

yes, that's it. i swear. you can also play with fruit, mix your yogurt with chicken broth..and you can also sub bananas for a jar of baby food.

and, because i give credit where credit is due, here is the site i found the recipe from: brettwinn.hubpages.com/hub/homemade-frozen-dog-treats

enjoy!
