Sometimes I lie.

I'm amazing at housework.
I always keep a very clean, tidy home.
Meaning I vacuum, do the dishes, dust, sweep, etc, every day.
I'm perfect, except for one thing.

Sometimes, I lie.

Confession: I'm not the greatest house keeper.
I leave my dishes in the sink more often than I clean them right away. (But I stack them nicely..)
I am not very good at vacuuming often (or any of the other things...) unless I force myself to stay home on a beautiful day until they get done.

Like today. It's pretty outside.

Here's another confession: I'd do laundry ALL DAY LONG if I had washer and dryer in my apartment. Walking down three flights of stairs...and needing to fish out quarters from my pocket is enough to make me say, "maybe tomorrow."

BUT.

Today, I've vacuumed my office. I cleaned the litterbox and changed the litter. I've scrubbed the animal cages. (We adopted a guinea pig..don't ask.) I'm soaking my crock pot so that I can clean it in a few minutes. I've got two loads of laundry done even though it required quarters and walking down stairs. I'm dusting. There's a good will pile by my door. I'm about to sort through clean socks.

Not sure what possessed me into doing all of this, but I guess it goes to show you that (sometimes) I get things done!
